More on the Bookmine project.

BOOKMINE - UNLOCKING THE PRIVATE LIBRARY

Imagine the enormous amount and variety of interesting literature hidden in private collections, probably even in your neighborhood. TouchTime developed the concept of an online lending service and community platform, by which bibliophiles with similar fields of interest can be brought together. A pilot of Bookmine was made by TouchTime-member Bastien Lauwers with the support of City of Antwerp and Stadslab2050

NEW SET PRODUCTION STUDIO FOR ANTWERP PERFORMING ARTS ORGANIZATIONS

TouchTime developed a cooperation between Kopspel, Kunsthuis Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Toneelhuis and HetPaleis. Aim is to create a new, sustainable, fully state of the art set production studio for these performing arts houses and for many more theatre and dance companies. Part of Greentrack Antwerpen.

TOUCHTIME at MONTY

Our first home was at contemporary arts center Monty in Antwerp. Open at irregular times, you could come and talk to us, see some artwork and share ideas on art and culture. On show till end of September 2015 (call or mail us for an appointment): Roberto Schiavi and Ritsaert ten Cate.

ARTS POLICY & STRATEGY

TouchTime provides screening tools for environmental, managerial and entrepreneurial data for single and groups of arts organizations, in preparation for the submission of grant applications for the Flemish kunstendecreet. Landscape drawings of the arts and culture scene of Ghent (download here) and Antwerp have been made in May-June 2015. The city of Ghent commissioned two new reports, one on an extended use of the operabuilding and another on 'kunstensite Bijloke'. In co-operation with IDEAconsult, scenarios were made for the development, organisation and infrastructure of the Flemish museum for contemporary arts M HKA as a Flemish arts institute. In co-operation with  ARCH consulting, a new strategy was presented for the Toy Museum in Mechelen.
